Insta-Week

Better late than never...

First up this week was a little reminder to check out what was going on in August! There was lots of lovely day trips - most through to Edinburgh for some festival action and some birthday cocktails, but some in Glasgow with the amazing Commonwealth Games. Of course there was lots of clothes thrown into the mix with some simple outfits if you're needing any wardrobe inspiration. Have a scroll back through and catch-up!

There's nothing like a big warm mug of Starbucks coffee to keep you cheery. During a busy day I stopped to pick up a favourite Chai Latte and relax with a quick pit-stop.

How great is this scraf! Is fluffy, warm goodness is amazing as the weather gets chillier. The reversible pattern is just fantastic, you can't really ask for anymore than red tartan and monochrome dogstooth together. And the icing on the cake is that it's from Primark - yaaaa!

Me and my friend needed cheering up this week so we popped off the The Stand. On Tuesdays they do a cheap night for old and new acts to try out some new material. It can be a bit hit or miss and some were better than others, but all in all it was pretty hilar! We giggled along and sipped on cider black's pretending we were still living in the Uni haze.

There was a new OOTD post on the blog to get you all set for Autumn. Check it out HERE! I'm just a little bit excited for Autumn layering and wrapping up cosy in chunky knit jumpers. This cream one looks perfect tucked into some high-waisted denim shorts. Have a nosey for some September styling.

The weekend could not come quick enough this week as all the fam-bam were getting together to celebrate the little sisters 21st! So the #TBT was in her honour. This was a while ago when I visited her up in Aberdeen, it was the sunniest weekend and we whiled away the hours at the beach, drinking tea and eating scones.

How amazing is this crockery! I found it overflowing in Oliver and Bonas, it's such a lovely wee shop for finding absolute gems. I love the colours and popping patterns on the jugs, cups, mugs and bowls! They're so pretty and I want to fill up my cupboards with them!

The next few snaps were from an amazing celebration weekend for my little sisters 21st! We all headed up to the most gorgeous house in Anstruther, near St Andrews. Mum filled us with treats and a survival kit full of goodies. We drank gin and ate fish n' chips and explored the coast. The house backed right onto the sea and the views were beautiful. Keep an eye out for a post all about the ideal birthday weekend!
