Made for Chelsea

I mean I belong on King's Road....

One of my favourite things to do if find a beautiful little area and spend a morning wandering around exploring. It's just lovely to find new cafes to watch the world go by in. Browse shops full of luxury or overflowing with knick knacks. And when I was down in London recently we decided Chelsea was the area that we should discover!

So off we popped down King's Road...

It was a really lovely warm day that was just fabulously bright an sunny, so I decided this was the perfect outfit.

This top is actually a lovely shirt dress I picked up in H&M a while ago. I really like items that you can get more than one look out of and this is exactly one of those pieces to a tee! Tied up with leopard print boots and a leather jacket it works wonderfully or without the waist tie it's a great billowing shirt dress that's just fabulous with a pair of heels.

But this look was as a top over jeans! Remember when all the (ahem) style-savvy celebs wore a properly girlie dress over jeans, well yeah I'm channelling that, just in a much better way....

Worn over skinny jeans it creates a really lovely silhouette. The big wrap-around scarf also adds a nothing lil bit of interest, plus this scarf goes everywhere with me, so you know.

And the sparkly shoes - I just love my sparkly shoes!

Off we popped to Chelsea and we even bumped into the MIC boys! We wouldn't have expected any less on King's Road though.

Dress - H&M
Jeans - Topshop 'Joni'
Shoes - River Island
Bag - Michael Kors
Scarf - Zara
